Eco-Art Bootcamp (4 days)

Dive into the rich traditions of creating art from naturally available resources in this unique and hands-on bootcamp. From learning how natural pigments and dyes are made and used, to learning about upcycling & found object art - this is a great bootcamp for young artists to learn about sustainable and eco-friendly ways of creating art!   

At the end of this bootcamp our junior artists will go home with:        

• Practical knowledge on how to make natural pigments and upcycling techniques        
• A new-found appreciation for traditional art practices        
• Naturally created pigments, and art projects created during the camp        
• Certificate of Completion

Indicative Schedule of the Bootcamp*

Day 1 -  How are natural pigments & dyes extracted, which resources give us different shades + making our own natural pigments    

Day 2 - Diving into the world of eco-printing with naturally available resources 

Day 3 - Recycling paper and making our own version of paper with personalised details + small paper mache project

Day 4 - Upcycling a household object using the techniques we learnt to give it a new life!

Through this bootcamp we want to inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the environment amongst our junior artists and expose them to techniques that help them create beautiful artwork while using recycled or sustainable materials!
