About the event
This course takes you through the full process of working with clay from learning how the material behaves to building and finishing ceramic forms. Designed by Ishita, this course is for beginners or simply 'clay curious'. With this course you learn the fundamentals of clay as a medium, core techniques & their possibilities, and create two complete art pieces that will inspire your everyday.
Meet your Mentors
Ishita Nagar is ceramic artist from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, specialising in sculpture from Banaras Hindu University. For her, clay is a medium to express inner thoughts, shaped into expressive sculptural forms. She has been working with clay for over four years, developing a strong, hands-on understanding of the material.
