Inspired by temple walls and ancient storytelling, Kerala mural art is celebrated for its mythological themes, bold outlines, and rich natural pigments in earthy reds, greens, and yellows. Traditionally painted on temple walls, these artworks depict deities, scenes from epics, and symbolic motifs with elegance and rhythm.
In this guided workshop, you’ll trace a traditional motif onto canvas, making it beginner-friendly and then bring it to life using acrylic paints. From outlining the form with confident strokes to carefully filling in details with natural tones, you’ll experience the meditative process that defines this timeless artform.
