About the event
Printmaking is an ancient technique, with roots in East Asia, discovered as a way to distribute art work amongst many people before digital revolution. A single carved surface (wood, lino, metal) can produce multiple prints and each print is considered an original "impression".
Learn this technique with your mentor for this workshop, carve your pattern or scenery on a lino sheet and create a custom mono-chrome prints on paper, tote bag or cushion covers. You also get to take back your carved Lino sheet to create more and more prints :)
