About the event
Warli is a tribal artform from Maharashtra that uses simple geometric shapes—like circles, triangles, and lines—to depict everyday life, nature, and rituals in a beautifully minimal style. Traditionally done in white on mud walls, Warli art carries a deep sense of rhythm, community, and storytelling.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic elements and motifs of Warli and how they come together to form dynamic scenes. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll translate this ancient art onto a tote bag, creating a unique and functional piece to take home.
