About the event
Yayoi Kusama, a world-famous Japanese artist, often painted mushrooms to show her wild imagination and connection to nature. Her artworks are filled with bold colors, patterns, and lots of dots! Kusama often painted mushrooms as a symbol of imagination, dreams, and the strange beauty of nature.
In this workshop, kids will learn about Kusama’s unique style and create their own mushroom artwork on canvas using acrylic paints. They’ll explore the use of bold patterns, vibrant colors, and Kusama’s signature dots to bring their mushrooms to life.
