Diganta Gain
Hailing from the culturally rich Kolkata, Diganta is a force to reckon with, with his unique outlook to art and steady self-assuredness. He completed his Masters in Fine Arts from Rabindra Bharati University with a specialisation in painting. His artwork often reflects his unique creative language, exploring different mediums and applications to create abstract representations of cosmos or even landscapes. His command on watercolours, evolution of art history and ability to visualise what feels impossible to an untrained eye make him stand apart. He holds a special relationship with his father whose legacy he holds high with post-humous collaborative artworks. Bengal’s Bounty

₹40,000.00Price

Bengal's Bounty by Dinesh & Diganta Gain captures the essence of Bengal's vast, fertile lands where life flows in harmony with the rhythms of nature. The greens & yellows in the painting captures the intricate grid of cultivated fields, bathed in golden sunlight that seem to stretch infinitely into the horizon reflects the abundance and beauty of Bengal, where life flows in harmony with the rythms of nature. The muted sky adds a gentle contrast, evoking a sense of calmness and grounding.

Crafted using a combination of watercolors and fine detailing, it is a semi-realistic masterpiece that showcases the intricate interplay between light and texture. Dinesh and Diganta used a layered technique to create depth and perspective and the delicate use of brushwork brings out the intricacies of the field patterns and foliage. The painting reflects an impressionist touch blended with a love for realism, making it a timeless piece of art.

As part of the Fields of Tranquility series, it captures the artist's deep connection to Bengal’s agricultural heartland.
